Officially Open for Sunshine!

When we received our permit from the City yesterday afternoon, we quickly sent a copy to the AGCO (alcohol authority) to let them know we were good to go, and then we all sprung into action.

We were anticipating an official patio launch for Thursday, but decided on a last-minute “soft launch” last night to check out table spacing, staff needs, order pacing etc.

…and with the number of people who joined us - we think we have everything good to go for the summer!

So, tonight, we officially launch our patio to the world - slightly larger and built brand new with the help our friends at TCRDKI with new chairs (same as last year but brand new), new pergolas instead of the umbrellas and new bar stools at the window ledges for those quick sips whenever the mood strikes (see the gallery below).

Just in time for the long weekend, so here is the plan…

THURSDAY 12pm - 10pm

First Day for Patio LUNCH!

And it would only be right to kick off our ‘al fresco’ lunch season with everyone’s favourite feature - our ultimate Lobster Roll!

A mix of the two main “styles” of the recipe - we combine the garlic-butter juiciness with the cool and creamy lobster mix on a lightly toasted brioche roll to create the perfect chin-dripping decadence it should be.

Available for dine-only and as quantities are available from 12-3pm today, tomorrow and Saturday.

Cheese & Charcuterie for two plus a bottle of wine for $50

Our Tasting Room Thursday (5-9pm) events officially kick off with Sudbury Market favourite - Konzelmann Estate Winery. You may have tasted a few of their wines at the market with Alex this past season, but tonight you can try ELEVEN (11) different wines. With the opportunity to build-your-own wine flights, or ordering a glass or two, or purchase bottles at discounted pricing (as stock allows) , you can feel like you are tasting wine at the Konzelmann Estate in Niagara.

PLUS - every guest receives a chance to win a Wander wine bag with 2 bottles to take home.

PLUS - tonight we launch one of our sangrias! Our White Sangria is the best in town with a mix of fruit, brandy and Konzelmann’s Peach Wine. :)

PLUS we are fundraising for the Art Gallery of Sudbury every Thursday for their Foreign Currency Drive. Bring along any spare foreign change or bills you may have lying around the house to assist them with the capital campaign.

FRIDAY 12pm - 11pm

Our Pincho Party (5-9pm) will be (sadly) indoors again unless the weather forecast changes between now and then. Alex has the night off so he has asked his friend DJ Greg to keep the party going while he gets to sit and enjoy wine and pinchos with all of you for a change!

PLUS - tonight we launch the ORIGINAL red sangria! Our Red Sangria is the closest to the original recipe that you’ll find outside of Spain with a mix of fruit, brandy and a Reserva Rioja blend.

SATURDAY - 12pm to 11pm

We are celebrating the launch of our patio with a tasty little contest and giving away THREE(3) Bar Tasting bookings for 4 people at the end of the weekend.
