Our goal is to offer something different than what you can find elsewhere downtown that is still quick and yummy but still may be new-to-you.


So - original plan for first week’s Lunch Features was set for warm, sunny patio weather, but we think your cravings will be adjusted a bit now.


Along with our May Menu Features and Always Available items, there is plenty of options to keep you coming back!


NOTE: Our Lunch Features may change daily so any or all of these items may be featured when you join us.


Ribollita (soup)

A big hit at the recent Tuscany class and since it’s going to be cool and rainy, it may be just what's needed.

Tomatoes and other veg, cannellini beans in a hearty broth. Served with grilled garlic ciabatta.


Italian Beef Grilled Cheese

We had slider versions for this past weekend’s private group event, so we thought it would also be a unique and gooey grilled cheese. (Slow simmered beef, provolone, and a bit of Hot Italian Giardiniera (pickled veg).) Served as is - or with a side of mixed greens.


Nicoise Salad

Yes - the classic! Lightly-dressed potatoes, tuna, eggs, tomatoes, green beans and olives.


This is also the week that we are going to take the big bar-top fridge that we use for summer pinchos and move it front and center.


It will be set up for lunch days (Wednesday to Friday) at the front end of the bar (by the windows) and it will be the place where you can grab-and-go some pre-made things for lunch.


A few sandwiches, small salads, pastries.


And I know you are wondering... can we get anything else to go?


Sorry, but no. 😞


We don't have the space to stock up on all of the takeout containers/packaging needed and we like our hot food to be enjoyed fresh and hot.


We also have been trying - ever since we opened - to convince diners that lunch is supposed to be a relaxing, re-charging time of the day.


Wander is supposed to offer you a glimpse at what dining is like elsewhere in the world and since we already have so many fast food and cafés around, we want to be that place for you to take your time and enjoy a leisurely break with some tableside service.


One last note on Lunch - it ends at 4pm - which means those features will also be unavailable after 4pm.


And after all... it's Happy Hour at 4pm and tapas, wine and cocktails are in order! 🙌
